Ercol Evergreen chair Display

Designed in the 1950's by ercol’s founder the Evergreen has been in constant production ever since. Its steam-bent ash frame is constructed using traditional techniques and the Evergreen cushions offer optimum support and comfort. The seat is made from supportive foam and the back cushion is constructed of a range of foams which provides an upright, supportive sit. Extra support is added by the upturned arm rests which extend from either side of the back arch, supported by turned lists. Foam upholstered arm coverings make this chair a cosy sit. The high back on this lounge chair provides added support and the webbing on the base of the chair adds spring and comfort. Classic Windsor wedge joints both provide great strength and a beautiful feature on the arms, whilst ercol comb joints provide great strength to the seat frame.
